about

How Fortunes Fall happened in what feels like another life time, when we were at the ripe ages of 16-18 years old and were more than willing to wear our hearts on our sleeves. A time when we looked around at our world wide eyed and ready to soak up any and all inspiration, be it love, loss, pain or joy, and transform that into a much needed cathartic release. We played three official shows, one in the backyard of B Street Music in San Mateo and two at Alex's parents' house on Martin's Beach, and then broke up only to play a series of "reunion" shows soon afterwards. This became a running joke at the shows, "See ya at the next reunion show!" Ryan Lynch started the band with us on guitar and we went through a slew of live bass players including Andrew Kerwin (All Bets Off), John Paul Labno (Staircase) and Jack Shirley (Comadre). Lev Perrey recorded our first take of the demo, which only included the first 4 tracks featured here, and Guy Higby (of Metal Blade recording artists Epidemic) was responsible for this recording. I'm not putting this here to make any money so the songs are free for the taking/listening. I just wanted it to be available for anyone curious and/or anyone who'd simply like to reminisce.
RIP MAKH DANIELS
RIP NOAH BRODSKY
